Joey Palimeno For Georgia Congressional District 1

It’s time for new fresh leaders that listen and act because in the richest nation in the world no body should be one medical emergency away from losing everything.

Standing Up For Families

My name is Joey Palimeno, and I’ve called Camden County, GA home for the past 9 years. I’m a working-class dad—not a career politician—who’s tired of watching Washington forget the people it’s supposed to serve.

I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for 17 years and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southern New Hampshire University. But my real education in public service began at home—with my son, Jaycen.

Jaycen was born with Down syndrome. Before he was even a year old, he had to undergo open-heart surgery. At 4, he began a 2½-year battle with leukemia. Watching my little boy fight through those challenges lit a fire in me to stand up for him, for families like ours, for the elderly, for people with disabilities, and for anyone who feels left behind by a system built to serve the wealthy and well-connected.

A Voice For The Working Class

This led me to my journey to run for Georgia’s 1st Congressional District. I’m not in it for the power or to be a party loyalist, I’m in it to be a voice for working-class people like myself who have been left behind for far too long.

I’m tired of not being able to afford to live while our current members of Congress worry more about their next viral Tweet than the issues their constituents face. I’m exhausted from false promises and the recycled excuses when they are broken.

It’s time for new fresh leaders that listen-and act because in the richest nation in the world no body should be one medical emergency away from losing everything.
